The annual meeting of the American seizi mistes, the Sixteenth Century Society and Conference (SCSC), will be held in Montreal (Canada) 14, 15, 16 and October 17th, 2010, to the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure. Interdisciplinary, SCSC is interested in all academic aspects of pre-modern said period, between 1450 and 1660 (see the site www.sixteenthcentury.org).
As representative for the section French Literature, I would like to invite you to subject proposals of individual conferences or common sessions.
The Society wishes an international participation and society accepts that sessions in other languages are organised than English and, this year, in favour of Montreal, French is accepted in the same capacity as English. Socit t also tries to favour the integration of the young researchers in profession.
The proposals of individual interventions or complete sessions (of 3 preferred participants), are owed on March 15th, 2010. They will include a summary of 250 words and have to be electronically subjected to this address:
http://www.sixteenthcentury.org/conf_proposals.shtml
The committee of organisation will inform the participants in four weeks according to this date.
Expenses of inscription in symposium (of vicinity $150.-) include the annual contribution to the Society and the benefits which accompany it (there - included the subscription to the Sixteenth Century Journal and the access to price reduces ITER at the root of data bibliographic).
