The movie director Didier Galas introduces horrific Words and pearl sugared almonds, a show which invites us to re-listen to the language of Fran ois Rabelais. Linked most often to the food, the abundance of wine and broad joke, Rabelais is one of the authors most worse known of our French language. Behind the world of Carnival, inevitable world of Renaissance which he could include into his work, hides a great poet, an inventor of language, powerful, learnt, odd and mysterious, a forerunner of sound poem. From a simple argument: advice which claims Panurge to know if he must get married, the thread of show domiciles in an expedition in language, a poetic search which makes us cross some linguistic inventions and prowess of writing so rousing as of musical harmony. The stage device created by Jean-Fran ois Guillon, artist plastic surgeon, makes sensitive the form of words, as a support in this word which the actors represent. The rejoicing of the actor to say this language rabelaisienne, immediacy of which sometimes resembles that of a song of variety, gives to the spectator the feeling of a joy lodged in the writing to the hollow of every word, as a lively stone. A holiday of the language. Une f te de la langue.
